I've played with X-Lite very little, partly due to their horrendous setup-UI, and partly because I just plain don't need it. I had X-Lite running against the Vonage soft-phone service, so it's capable of connection to any port you like. I do not remember seeing any way to configure what port X-Lite listens on, so...
In Asterisk's sip.conf: [general] port=5061 [xlite] host=127.0.0.1 ... And then tell X-lite to register with 127.0.0.1 at port 5061. I don't see a reason why this shouldn't work. > -----Original Message----- > From: Sunrise Ltd [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, July 14, 2004 12:13 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] New Asterisk bounty: SIP simultaneous > > > Jay Milk wrote: > > >[general] > >Port=5060 > > > >register => [EMAIL PROTECTED]:5061 > > > >[sip-vonage] > >... > >host=sphone.vopr.vonage.net > >port=5061 > > very interesting, thanks. > > Still need to get my head around this and see how it may > be used for running X-Lite along Asterisk on the same > notebook in order to dial out from X-Lite through Asterisk > going from SIP to IAX in the process. > > thanks again > benjk > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > http://bb.yahoo.co.jp/ > > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/aster> isk-users > To > UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
