Does it mean funding OSS projects? Does it mean contributing code? Does it mean support won't hang up the phone when you mention OSS? Some of our customers use ACT's IP phones, mainly the P104. ACT have been very responsive dealing with all the issues we have raised, most of them Asterisk related. They have never said anything like "Asterisk? we don't support that". To the contrary, they have always been very helpful to resolve any issued to make their phones work with our customers' Asterisk servers. In some cases they did far more than most other manufacturers would have done and I know they did so because they want their phones to work well with Asterisk. Also, when we told them that their web interface doesn't work so well with Mozilla browsers, they fixed it. I have just received a firmware update for that and we will test this tomorrow. I have never heard them say something like "we will have to evaluate how much demand there is for this feature and how many of our customers are actually interested in Asterisk/Mozilla". I am not sure if this would qualify as "support OSS" in your view, but I can definitely say that ACT are committed to work on their products to make them interoperate with OSS products.
