Is the codec_g729.so file in the asterisk modules folder?

Is it getting loaded at the time of Asterisk load?

When you run "show modules" on asterisk CLI, do you see a module with a name like 
"codec_g729.so"?

Did you try the command "show G729" on Asterisk CLI ?

What does this Show? Does it show number of channels (Two in your case)?

Did you register your codecs using the "register" executable or not?

Has the Network card been the same since you have last installed the codec?

These are the questions you should ask and answer to yourself.

The problem only happens when i use G729 codec. I have two licenses on my asterisk box.

when i use * show translation => my G729 trans is empty.

Any ideas ?
