When I cat /var/log/dmesg | grep PCI, I get this: PCI: PCI BIOS revision 2.10 entry at 0xfc7ce, last bus=1 PCI: Using configuration type 1 PCI: Probing PCI hardware PCI: Discovered primary peer bus 01 [IRQ] PCI: Using IRQ router ServerWorks [1166/0200] at 00:0f.0 Serial driver version 5.05c (2001-07-08) with MANY_PORTS MULTIPORT SHARE_IRQ SERIAL_PCI ISAPNP enabled SvrWks OSB4: IDE controller at PCI slot 00:0f.1 PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 01:02.0 PCI: Found IRQ 15 for device 01:02.1 scsi0 : Adaptec AIC7XXX EISA/VLB/PCI SCSI HBA DRIVER, Rev 6.2.36 scsi1 : Adaptec AIC7XXX EISA/VLB/PCI SCSI HBA DRIVER, Rev 6.2.36 PCI: Assigned IRQ 5 for device 00:0f.2
Does this first line confirm that I am PCI 2.1. I tried it on several machines that I have access to and they all say 2.10. I recognize that this means I'm out of luck for a TDM4xx card, but is this an accurate enough test or might the OS be somehow fibbing? dbc. > Message: 5 > Date: Sun, 28 Nov 2004 08:31:47 +0800 > From: Ronald Wiplinger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: [Asterisk-Users] How to test if PCI 2.2? > To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed > > Is there a way to test if the motherboard is ready for a Digium card > (PCI 2.2) ? > > I would like to know from a remote computer, where I have (root) > access, > if this computer is ready for a TDM22B. > > bye > > Ronald _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
