Never had a problem with mine. I set my DHCP server to hand out a specific IP to the IAXy, too.

What's the advantage over unplugging the unit and plugging it back in?
And my IAXy doesn't work with my european phone (no tone) it's kind of a drag :(
My IAXy works perfectly fine with a cheapo Panasonic cordless I bought here in Germany.
