They were pretty emphatic they did not allow re-licensing of codecs to prvent piracy. In other words, if you have to relicense your codecs, you are probably pirating the codec. I think that's a silly approach. Don't get me wrong, I am keen to buy codec licenses to support a fantastic open source project, I am keen to channel company funds to developers for functions I need added, we want to be good members of the open source community. I am also buying Digium hardware for our project. I just don't want to pay for licensing that I already paid for because of a flawed copy protection system.
