Linksys+Vonage PAP-2 VOIP adapter price down to $25/free

Staples has the Linksys PAP-2 2-line VOIP adapter on sale in Canada. 
This is believed to be the locked-to-Vonage-until-somebody-cracks-it model.

The retail price is C$89.95. There is a mail-in rebate for $65 good 
until sometime in June, making the everyday price effectively ($24.95 + 
tax on the full price).  You can enter the rebate online to speed it up 
by a few days.

It's "free" if you are a Staples Dividend loyalty plan member; you will 
have received a mailing with a coupon for which they mark it down 
further - they rebate the $24.95 at the cash register, making it 
effectively "free" after you get the rebate back (you still pay the tax 
on the retail amount).  If you are not a Dividend member and can find  
somebody that is (the office administrator?) but who isn't planning to 
use the coupon...

So, for "free" I picked up one of these puppies; in the next week or two 
I'll probably get around to joining the ranks of those trying to beat it 
into submission, at least to make Asterisk talk to it.

However, if you know anybody that wants the benefits of VOIP via a 
standalone adapter to Vonage (only) & wants a cheap adapter, pass it on.
