I think it's got a lot to do with what they can get... I have noticed a LOT of 'cons' are unbelievably expensive. It's not just telephony either, although I agree that for a "hey meet Asterisk, see what it's all about" it's awfully high. I can't see a lot of newcomers willing to pay that just to see... A "Just to see" is like $20 to $50 for an hour or so. I dunno. I guess I'm a little disgruntled at the "milk 'em for all we can" mentality of a lot of cons lately. -A.
