From Nortel to Asterisk

Does anyone have experience integrating an asterisk system into an exisitng 
Norstar system? Basically, I bridged a norstar extension into an asterisk 
box, thusly:

Norstar extension => nortel ATA =>TDMcard/Asterisk => Voip phone.
Everything works great ... except for one thing: I can't get the voip phone 
to log into the norstar queue, like you would with a regular nortel phone. 
How do I send feature commands to the Norstar from a voip phone? Any ideas?
