Ok,
2 weeks ago I posted asking if anyone could recommend a IAX single line
FXO device, I'm still no closer to a solution. I've scoured and can't
find any available device for a single FXO port. I'd use a Sipura3000 if
NAT wasn't an issue on the clients end.
So if anyone has any leads to a single FXO IAX device let me know.
Other options are:
1 - Build a server, and ideally if I go this route I'd like it to look
like an appliance but want to limit the cost. Looks like my appliance
option is to build one using a Soekris net4801 (US$240) and a Sangoma
a200 (CA$290) (since it supports 3.3v, not sure about the Digium). But
now were getting up there in cost to about 600 bucks. That or a XPC form
computer as a small Asterisk server with a single FXO card.
2 - Try a IAX FXS device ( IAXy) and a FXS/FXO converter (any one tried
one of these?).
All I want to do is to be able to hang off a clients PBX as a single
extension so we can easily access their PBX without using DID ( not an
option for this small client).
