I dont think wireless Palm Pilots are off topic. Personally I liked the info, specially considering Blaine gave the name of the program. Most VoIP enthusiasts I know of are interested in wireless news specially when it relates to mobiles!! And we are a Toronto group after all !!

I know this is off-topic but I still felt a need to share the story. T.O. commuters told Stephen Harper 'eats babies' http://tinyurl.com/g8o8z (Points to the long CTV.ca Article URL) The hacker apparently used a Palm pilot and a OmniRemote to reprogram the signs. The software called Pro-Lite (it's on packetstorm) "is a database for the OmniRemote palm pilot program which allows you to reprogram Pro-Lite brands of LED signs". So you too could reprogram these signs but GO Transit is going to fix the problem by adding some form of authentication to the signs according to the CTV article. There was also a recent article about Fedex Kinko's smart cards. They use a 3 byte security code that is the same across all cards. http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000453073566/ Blaine --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
