I am far from a networking specialist but the 2600 that they provided
only has a couple of Ethernet connections. I believe that the 2600
series are modular and we probably have the base version.

So assuming that I cant do anything with the 2600 what other router
would you recommend that can perform QOS

*why* praytell are you using a WRT54 to route when you have a beautiful,
sexy,
fast 2600 sitting right there, capable of doing pretty much everything
you
need? Can you configure the 2600? Can you get Allstream to do so?

If you can get the 2600 to do your bidding, go for it... otherwise ask
them if
you can terminate the T1 directly and do so as I mentioned in my
previous
message.

Using the WRT54 to route traffic that's one hop away from the 2600 is
like
using a using a baby spoon to feed a football team... ouch!
