Hi Paul,

At the Ottawa Asterisk Users Group recently we heard about Aastra
phones. I haven't used them but reports were fairly positive from some
folks. I think Aastra is a Canadian company so as a Canadian resident
you'll want to support them :-)  http://www.aastra.com/

There's another list (asterisk-biz ??) that has subscribers from various
suppliers around Ontario and GTA - people there could give you prices
and model names etc.
