I haven't seen your exact modem but generally, they don't have 2
'ports' in the software sense, they just have 2 jacks.  The intent is
that you would plug your bell line into one and a phone into the
second.  That way, when the modem isn't using the line, the phone set
could use the line.  It is pretty much useless in an asterisk
situation.  There is only one addressable resource on the card.
