But now that you mentioned, I think its a great idea and we need to team up! I see tremendous opportunities to serve Military depts. in Canada and the USA. Sniper Assaults around $15,000. Mortars at $15,000+ and rocket propelled grenades vs. inexpensive Asterisk deployment. One is war and the other is peace. We can serve government organizations and bomb squads the ability to give them their own inexpensive phone systems for home & office use. Their phone communications all encrypted - so that other spy agencies and terrorist organizations around the world cannot eavesdrop on the CIA, FBI, RCMP, and so on. Also deploying Asterisk at community centres and training kids with lost causes, to get them off the streets from selling hand guns going at $50 per unit on the streets of New York. Maybe also deploy Asterisk & train folks on Asterisk at Community Centres at areas near Jane & Finch which had a record bust & sting operations few months ago to crack down guns, drugs and other criminals probably engaged in terrorist activities. Not necessarily do I support the actions of Home Land security, but I don't mind an Asterisk consulting opportunity with them :). Perhaps ventures & ideas for Universal Peace and zero TERRORIST activities around the globe might get us greater recognition with the hope to deploy Asterisk solutions. The sales strategies on Asterisk opportunities vs. terrorist activities is more humble and non violent in nature. I look forward to my next interrogation at the Canada/USA border when I travel for business. I hope my interrogators will not be the contracted staff by US government who engaged themselves in torture techniques. I also want to make sure that the USA Government Staff understands and appreciates I'm just a peace loving man, completely against terrorists and have a wife & kid to feed and that I am against any form of violence and that a simple needle scare the day lights out of me when visiting a hospital - so definitely guns and rifles and sniper assaults is a big no no in my lifestyle. My involvement in terrorism related matters is limited to watching CNN, BBC, CBC and other documentaries. Ok... maybe I played a little DOOM in my early years. If any of the government bodies want to extract info from me, all they need to do is threaten me with a day or two prison time. Torture I guarantees you will be an overkill for me. I'll probably break down if they just say Boo. So I want to also assure the TAUG group that I prefer Star Bux & Second Cup vs. some coffee from prison or jail. I want my coffee made fresh. Jim, so next time I travel, please have a few of your "Asterisk, The future of Telephony" signed & autographed as I suspect this time I'll be interrogated for a good hour or two due to the nature of my e-mail and keywords in it, and in that time frame I would also like to take the opportunity to educate these trigger happy cowboys how productive Asterisk can be, and that they can talk to their friends, family and girlfriends for free across the continents if they deployed their own little Asterisk box. I have no doubt when they go through my stuff they will want to ask me questions about what "Asterisk" is. Cheers!
