Hi everyone, With 0 experience with SER; however, I wanted to use it within my Asterisk environment and thought I could use a little from the group.... Been trying to configure SER to talk to my Asterisk.........Don't seem to get it to work.....mayB I don't understand the logic behind SER.....
Here's what I'm looking for .... Goal: utilize SER as a SIP Proxy/Router/Forwarder... I want calls to/from a specific extension (or all of them, doesn't matter) to go thru SER which will then forward all requests (unchanged to Asterisk)/ Those extensions are currently on Asterisk..... Am I thinking right or just hitting a brick wall here ? Or should I create extensions on SER which will then use Asterisk as a trunk? My apologies if this seems FAQ, but I don't seem to find any good and quite understandable Tutorial or resource. Any help and/or pointers will be greatly... Thanks and have a great day!
