Anthony, The errors you are seeing mean that Asterisk is not running. Nothing in FreePBX (or any of the Trixbox administrative tabs) will work until the Asterisk process is started. You need to find out why it's failing. Run "tail -n 30 /var/log/asterisk/full" (without the quotes) when logged into your system and you should see the particular error indicating why Asterisk won't start. Alex

If you find that you actually do need the Kernel dev stuff, you will need to install it as the latest version of Trixbox does not come with these files. I found somewhere that I needed to rebuild the Zaptel drivers. So I set out to do so As part of the instructions I needed to navigate to the [/usr/src/kernels/] directory hmmm Hines my problem, I can not find this directory, In my /user/src directory I have the fallowing sub-directory's a2billing freepbx-2.1.2 sipsak-0.8.11 zaptel asterisk-perl-0.08 nwebmail-0.1.80 xplast zaptel-1.2.5.tar.gz freepbx redhat xplhub I will get to the fixing the original problem later but for now. where is the Kernels directory it seems to be in the same place for everyone else but me. How do I locate the Kernels directory Thanks...
