IMHO, the fact that someone is afraid to point out problems with Trixbox on a Trixbox forum signals there may be attitude problems with that project?
Have you ever experienced attitude problems with devs of Trixbox or FreePBX? I've seen them help most strangers for free on IRC and even the phone.
The original poster may not have done the best job of phrasing his post as constructive but it certainly wasn't the worst I've seen either.
Ask for a workaround, tell me what can be improved, if no one has time or wants to do something about your suggestion change it yourself and maybe even contribute back, if the author disagrees with you, fork it if you have the resolve. But don't tell me you are pissed and unimpressed with someones hard work and gift that you are tring to use to your advantage. At best in that case you would be pissed and unimpressed that someone elses hard work which you didn't pay for in any shape, didn't make life easier for you. Its just not the karma correct thing to do.
