Does anyone know of test numbers that echo back DTMF digits, to test that DTMF is being sent and received correctly?

If you do outbound calling that requires DTMF, occasionally you'll call into an area (say a little independent telco in Northern Ontario) where Asterisk doesn't receive DTMF tones correctly. This could be because of a misconfigured switch that bungles the DTMF somewhere between your carrier and the person receiving the phone call.

I'm thinking of registering local phone lines all over the place, and just leaving them on call-forwarding to a 1-800 test number on one of our servers. This would let me place an automated test call to a number on each service provider, so I can send digits back and forth.

It would be easier, however, if there were already DTMF test numbers that would echo back the digits you send in, like that ANAC and Milliwatt test numbers being discussed.

  Any ideas?

        Cheers!
