Would you believe we were still using one of these in 1997?  And it still 
worked fairly well. Then we inherited a 1980's TASCOM PBX.  Wooo hooo 
hooo!  That is only running on one drive now (no backup) so I have to get 
Asterisk interfaced to DID lines here ASAP and we have to come up with a 
screen pop application.  Wish us luck!  I may need some emergency help 
from this list some time soon.  The manager is planning to program 
something in Visual Basic script but this has it limitations, right?  I think 
we 
should be working with an AGI compatible language.

I believe I saw our old switchboard on an Aliant parade float once. Someone 
was doing an impression of Lily Tomlin doing her Ernestine character. You 
know, "one ringy-dingy, two ringy-dingys,...."
