Greetings Asterisk folks, I am new to asterisk and VOIP, but this mailing list and internet sites are very helpful.
I have a Linksys SPA-3102 I want to use as a VOIP/PSTN gateway. In addition to the VOIP capabilities being similar (if not identical) to the Sipura SPA-3000, it also has router software as well. I don't care much for the router as I have a dedicated firewall/router on my LAN already. But this 3102 has a LAN and a WAN network ports. I've had success connecting to my LAN using either port, however is there any advantage using one over the other?
