Just to supplement what Chad said,

I apologize, but to proceed I need the following technical information:
Protocol (Ni-1 or Ni-2)

They're asking if you want to use National ISDN 1 or National ISDN 2.
In general, I ask for NI-2 unless the provider has a strong preference
for NI-1. These are just standards for how features are supported.
You can set either one in your zapata.conf using 'switchtype'. Note
that the options like DMS100 and 5ESS are Nortel and Lucent
(respectively) flavours of NI-1 and NI-2. Sometimes the 5ESS setting
works best with a provider using NI-2.

Line Coding (AMI or B8ZS)
Line Framing (D4, ESF, or SF)

As Chad said, ESF, B8ZS is typical.

Type of System (is it a PBX?)

I usually say 'Yes'. The problem is that the next question is usually
"what kind?" To which I say "It's called Asterisk, it's alot like an
IVR running Dialogic cards" just so the switch tech has some idea what
I'm working with and that it's PC based.

Outpulse Digits (how many)

As Chad says, you can tell them anything. There is some sense to
letting them use whatever they're used to using since they'll be less
likely to mess it up. I usually ask for 10 digits because sometimes
I'm using toll free numbers.

Do you want the channels to hunt asequentially?

Chad's suggestion is great. Whatever they use for sending calls to
your equipment, you should try to use the opposite for calls going to
them.

I hope that helps,
Dave
