The Netgear FS116P uses a total of 88watts (volts x amps=watts) under maximum load so to figure out run time on ups use the following equations.
First you need to get a load ratio by divideing the total va / watts So an 1000va ups 1000va/88watts= 0.088 or rougly 9% load Now if that ups lasts 10mins (take this from the mfgrs box and always round down) under full load you would get the max run time looking at the load and runtime under fully load So in this case a 1000va would roughly get you 111 minuets (1hr 51mins) Hope that helps out. They're hard to beat for the price. My most heavily loaded one will keep 5 small servers, a router and two modems running for at least 35 minutes ( haven't test any longer ). So I imagine it would keep 5 phones and a switch going for quite a while.
