Hi all: I could use some help with setting up channel groups on Trixbox 2 running asterisk 1.2.13. For some reason I cannot define the channel groups the same way as on Trixbox 1.2.3. Before it was simply define the groups as shown, before the individual channel configurations (All Group 0.)
group=1 channel=1-4 group=2 channel=5-8 This DID work once I figured out the syntax. With Trixbox 2.0, Asterisk crashes if you don't also specify the signalling type for each group. When I try to call out, the attempt goes to Zap line 1 where there is no dial tone (Its an analog trunk line.) I have the Outbound Route specified as 'g2' like before. What has changed? I can find no clues so far. BTW, I solved our motherboard IDE DMA problem by downgrading to the P4 MB from our test server. So much for Core 2 motherboards and Trixbox. Hopefully the Core 2 will work in test soon. Then I had problems with the Sangoma drivers but I did a fresh compile on Trixbox 2 and the phone card seems stable now. TIA, Peter MacFarlane
