Hey Chris, couple things to keep in when selecting a provider is 1)
cheapest may not always be the best 2) latency; how far is the provider
in ms from where you are; this is something that can play a big role in
quality and codec selection (as well its always a good idea to run a
packet test to ensure there is no packet loss between you and your
provider).

For business related questions though please pop them to the taug biz
list :-) that way vendors can respond to you directly.

Regards,

Phil

Subject: [on-asterisk] what voip providers do you guys use?

Hi,

I'm brand new to this asterisk thing and I was hoping you guys could
give me some pointers. I want to hook my asterisk box up to the regular
telephone system, but I'm not sure which provider to use. The voip wiki
page for Canada lists a whole bunch of providers but I just want to know
which you guys think is the best/cheapest. I will be calling the Yukon a
lot, so bad rates for northern territories is something I would
appreciate you keep in mind.

Thanks,

Chris
