Hi Richard,

ENUM is the easiest one. FreePBX queries several e164 sites (e164.org,
e164.arpa, and somewhere else I think). Setting up the ENUM CID lookup
is as simple as selecting ENUM for Source Type and pressing "Submit
Changes".

If you have an HTTP lookup source, this can be just as simple. Give it
the host, port, your username/password, the path and the query string,
and you're done (although I don't know of any freely available HTTP/CID
lookup servers out there - if anyone knows of any, please let us know!).

Alex

Subject: [on-asterisk] Caller name lookup source in trixbox

Hi,

I am trying to setup a simple name lookup source for my Trixbox.
Noticed on the FreePBX page that there were various options for sources.

1/ Internal
2/ ENUM
3/ HTTP
4/ MYSQL
5/ SugarCRM

Which of the above is the simplest way to setup?
I am guessing the 1st option - Internal.

Any help/instructions on setting up such source will be great!

Thanks,
Thanks,
Richard
