Greetings All, I have recently been involved to setup a new Asterisk VOIP phone system and have a question about a configuration possibility.
We have purchased new Aastra (9133i and 480i CT) phones, and are running Trixbox 1.2.3. I see that the BLF field works to see the status of the other extensions on the server. My question is: is it possible to configure the FXO trunk lines (Zaptel driver) to register on the BLF fields on the phone? I see that it could probably be done if there could be a SIP account associated to each of the (two) trunks that are currently connected to Trixbox, but I don't see the option on if this can be setup, nor have I been able to find it on forums. It would be nice to see if the two outgoing lines are in use at some time, but another main reason we want to set this up is so that there can be a different ring for when an extension is getting an internal call VS. a call that has come in from outside through the PBX IVR - I'm not sure if this will correct that problem though.
