Hello everyone,I am wondering if Andrew or anyone else came up with a solution
for Sangoma card not detecting (to be correct: zaptel driver not doing anything
about RED alarm) unplugged lines. If this is a Zaptel fault then I see this as a
very serious shortcoming to the system. I am afraid to think that Asterisk is
so weak to not be able to detect or at least follow the instructions from
Sangoma cards. As Henry said, it is as simple as 48V on the line to make sure
the line is available.I would not have a problem with Zaptel if this was only
for unplugged lines but it happens even when a call is already in progress.
Instead of dialing line 2, asterisk dials out through line 1, and you can hear
the DTMF while you are talking on the phone. I have tried this setting with two
lines from Bell and from Roger (VoIP) but still the same problem persists.Any
feedback would be greatly appreciated on the issue.Bruce> Date: Wed, 9 May 2007
