Hi Georges,
I have one connected to Asterisk running on a Linksys NSLU2 (Slug) and
it has performed reliably for the past 3 months or more. The Wife has
tried to blame it for numerous problems which have all, with one
exception, turned out to be Bell or user issues (It is my personal
policy to NEVER admit to errors on my part! :-). The one exception is
echo, a seemingly omnipresent VoIP issue, which got worse when we
changed to a better quality cordless phone.
Fortunately the SPA-3102 has a ridiculous number of configuration
options and I am currently working on tuning the SPA<-->POTS and
SPA<-->Handset parameters to minimise the problem.
I also have a Grandstream HT-386 which is OK but the SPA is of much
better quality.
I can certainly recommend the SPA-3102 for SOHO use.
regards,
Drew

I start off by saying thank you to all of the many contributors to
this list.
I have learned and benefited greatly from many of you.
I am seeking your experiences, good and bad, with the SPA-3102.
I am studying to implement 1 or more of these with Trixbox 2.2.3-1 .
I know of a few alternatives, but have centered around the 3102.
My minimum requirements are 1 FXO, 1 FXS, 1 Ethernet, in a solution
that is a solid choice and seamless compatibility with Trixbox.
I know faxing with Asterisk is still a debatable issue, but this is a
serious consideration in this implementation.
Please respond to the list, but if you prefer off the list then gb
[aT} interweb d0T com will work .
Thanks,
Georges
