I have in my possession a 2.5" x 2.5" x 0.5" GSM module. It runs Python, takes a SIM card, and has both GPS and cellular antenna jacks. It's about $200, but if you don't want a cell phone connected to your PC, this thing is the cat's ass. I'm using these for an embedded (mobile) application, but I don't see why these could not be used for this purpose. The GPS can also serve as a stratum-1 time source for your network. -A. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
