Hi all, I have a customer in Canmore, Alberta. Since we can't find a provider to port their number to VoIP, we've decided to forward their PSTN line to a VoIP number in Calgary. They're aware they will incur long distance charges.
The Canmore phone line is billed by Allstream, but I'm told it's provisioned by Telus. Right now, the Canmore line rolls over to a second line if the first line is busy. The line needs to be re-programmed to remove the rollover and activate call forwarding. The concern is whether the phone line will ring busy after one call is forwarded to Calgary. Asterisk doesn't have any problem handling the multiple channels, but will Telus allow multiple channels to be forwarded? Does anyone have any similar experience with this in Alberta or elsewhere west of Ontario? Cheers, Sean. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
