Here's my case: - Orginate SIP NOTIFY messages to be sent to Asterisk which will then deliver them to the intended extension Issue encoutered: - Apparently, Asterisk seems to reject the SIP message with a trace reads a "603 Declined" error message with, unfortunately no further info [unless, I'm missing something] - Although, when looking at a network trace, in the same 603 Declined response from Asterisk, the field ALLOW has NOTIFY in it; - Thus, the message never reaches the end-extension. Observation: - From the same tools, I can successfully send REGISTER or INVITE messages Environement: Asterisk is version 1.2.18 SIPSAK version 0.9.5 UDB Flooder 2.00 Question: - Is there a particular setting I should enable before Asterisk could allow SIP NOTIFY mesages pass thru it ? - I'm thinking, maybe Asterisk is "protecting" itself from receiving unauthenticated NOTIFY messages; thus prevent SIP spams......
