Is the pap2 doing a DNS lookup on something (original locked-in
provider, perhaps?)? Use Wireshark to see what's going on.
If it's a DNS lookup then you can fake it out by adding a bogus record
to your local DNS server/relay agent (on your gateway device).

I have a friend with the exact same issue. Unlocked pap2 and when an
internet hiccup occurs it wont register. Interesting thing would be to see
if a non-hacked (unlocked) pap2 possibly na would do the same. That would
indicate firmware or not.

Hi
Well, not the question related to asterisk.... I have a unlocked PAP2
connected to my asterisk. Both voip port is registered to the local
asterisk server. All the ip address is manually setup. Everything I lost
the internet connection, the PAP2 seems not working. The status on PAP2
shows not register but they are on the same network.....
Any one knows why and how to fix it?
Thanks
Alex
