TAUG has had a booth and presented at every CareerDoor Technology Career Fair event in the Toronto area since 2006. The Asterisk presentations on both days are usually packed with IT professionals interested in learning more about how VoIP and Asterisk, and how it will affect their Careers.
Depending on the date/weather/etc... we usually get between 500-1400 IT professionals through an event resulting in more members for TAUG and a greater interest in Asterisk. And of course, some great conversations happening... Reza usually pulls together a group to take care of the booth, but he is not in Toronto for the next few months. Mathew Gamble has kindly volunteered to do the presentations both days. We are in need for some volunteers to man the booth and take care of people interested in getting more information. I don't think you have to be an expert in Asterisk, although nice to have. Most people are interested in learning more and need direction on how TAUG can help.
