Lloyd,
When I did it I used a fresh install of [EMAIL PROTECTED], I believe it was
2.5. If I recall right, I did the initial install, removed AMP, then did
the PhoneCall install and it worked. All told I think I spent 2 hours
doing the install. But it was on a test box, so I only played with it
for about a week, I then needed the box for something else so I never
got a chance to put it through it's full paces nor did I put into
production. Main reason was back then they PhoneCall developers were
working on a new version to work with 1.4 so I thought I'd wait for it
before I really invested any time in implementing. Little did I know it
would take them almost 2 years.
I'd actually given up on the project but just noticed about a month ago
(hadn't checked in 6 months) that they had put up a new release for
download. For almost a year there were no downloads available at all. So
this inconsistency makes me leery, but if it works handling the
Asterisk configuration for multi tenant, then after that how much
support are you going to need?

Hello Mike,
PhoneCall features are very attractive. How many years they are in the
market?
I try to call the number on their website .... no luck either the
number is not available or busy...
How hard to install the PhoceCall ?
Thank you
Lloyd

It went quiet for a while, but has resurfaced as both a commercial
and a GPL releases. Only thing that would make me leary here is
that their development cycle seems to be very slow. Now I think
that the commercial code is well supported but the GPL version may
be questionable. But costs nothing to give it a test drive except
your time.
I've not tried the latest version but the one I tried 2 years ago
was pretty good. It will support exactly what your looking for.
Has an easy tenant set up, define them, which routing, which did's
, then how many extensions and what range and it builds it all out
for you. And each tenant can manage their piece if desired.
I actually also have a need for this so may try the latest code.
If I do will report back ( just need to find the time )

Martin is correct, some people have use contexts to simulate a multi-tenant
system but if you want the
"real thing" I suggest you take a look at Thirdlane software (its not free,
but would pay for itself in
any hosted
system)

From my understanding, Trixbox really is not suitable for a
multi-tenaant hosted PBX unless you are using a separate instance of
Trixbox for each client.
