When shopping around for a co-location I would suggest you search
webhostingtalk.com for reviews. It's a great site that can help you
avoid getting burned.

For VoIP you will also want to check the latency from Cable and DSL
connections to  your future co-location provider. In addition its
always good to do a traceroute and count how many hops to said
provider. With a lower amount of hops theres less chance of packets
disappearing causing problems for your VoIP clients.
