That's a good question, but I have never found anyone to give a definitive
answer. Some of the factors that I am aware of include:

-type of CPU
-type of channels being connected
-how many participants want to talk at the same time
-transcoding requirements
etc

Not sure if anyone has ever published any benchmarks on this.
