Hi all, I have a couple of problems I'm working through that I can't seem to
resolve.
1.) FTP Backup to another (Windows Server)
Freepbx has a backup and restore feature that will save to a backup directory or
an FTP server (by editing config in Amportal.conf). I have managed to get the
server to log on and go into
passive mode transfer but it just hangs there and times out. (no warnings).
Am I missing anything?..Anything I should check?
Like Andre said can you manually use ftp and ftp in and upload a file to
the destination directory using the credentials in the config file?
2.) Sending Vmail as attachments. I am completely confused by this...
Do I need to have sendmail enabled or does * have this feature?
Voicemails are saved and can be retrieved by *97 or by the "User" web interface
but
I am having problems sending it as an attachment. Mail gets sent to a google
account but gets rejected.
My ITSP is Rogers so I not sure if they allow SMTP or do I need to relay.
If you want to send email outbound not using rogers mailserver, you'll
have to use port 587 (esmtp) since Rogers blocks port 25. This is also
dependent on the destination mailserver supporting 587 with
authentication (TLS) which google does.
Confused:
