Here is what I got after I tried your suggest yum command:

[r...@elasta ~]# yum install kernel-devel-$(uname -r)

Nothing to do



As you can see, it says, "No package kernel-devel-2.6.18-53.1.19.el5xen 
available." On another server of Elastix this is set to, 
"Kernel-devel-2.6.18-53.1.19.el5" rather than el5xen. Could this make a 
difference or can I change it to the one wihtout xen?
