Hi, and welcome. If you downloaded the latest Asterisknow it will have the
FreePBX
web GUI built in. You can go to the FreePBX website and get lots of information
about
how to configure your system.
IMHO I would download and use Zoiper softphones.
I recommend Unlimitel for your ITSP, when you get a number (DID)from them you
can go to their website
and cut and paste the exact configuration (as per Trixbox)you need, once you
are able to register the
trunk you are 50% there. Setting up the softphones is easy as well, most of the
setup is default.
You will also need to set up an incoming route and outbound route (dialplan).
