I have used monitoring and it works just fine including all the reports. If all the wav files are present, i doubt there is something wrong with the database recording the call data. Or someone might have deleted the records from web interface manually.
If you delete the displayed data, only the database records are erased and not teh actual wav files. You can check the DB manually.
