Hello All, Need some advice and what to look out when setting up a PRI.
I have configured asterisk with analog lines before. Helping a friend with setting up asterisk with an Allstream PRI line, going with Sangoma A101d with hw echo-canceller. Anyone care to shed some light on what the following is, this is from the AS PRI request form: -Trunk Selection Sequence -Hunt Group, Virtual Group -External Name & Number Display (does this mean I can set my own name and number on the fly) -Digit Substitution required -Backup D required (y/n) -Line coding & framing (I think this is B8zs/esf) -ISDN protocol (I think this is NI-2) -Release line trunking (Allstream says it's a $75 charge) -Digits to outpulse Thanks for your help. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
