I was able to do this using PRI and placing the Asterisk server
inbetween the telco and the Nortel
Telco PRI <---> Asterisk Server <---> Norstar
Also using a Sangoma card.

Anyone have an example of a Norstar T1 -> Asterisk integration that supports
DID and CLID?
I'm trying to do this via T1 and not PRI (as the PRI requires a $400 license
from Nortel).
I can call from the norstar to the asterisk with 9+ext it rings the Asterisk
phone with no CLID. When I dial 9+ext on the asterisk as soon as it goes off
hook on T1 line 1 it causes line one on the Norstar to ring. I would like to be
able to dial different ext. (I'm not Norstar expert, I'm much more at home on
Nortel M1 systems).
I'm using a Sangoma T1/PRI card connected to a Norstar MICS
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have it "kind of working" with this config.
