The Bria from www.xten.net just meets every requirement you have in mind, it supports both SIP SIMPLE IM and XMPP IM, plus SIP softphone which is feature rich. It just works nicely as one UC client if you think that way. I personally has it working with Asterisk/FreeSWITCH plus Jabber servers. Just my .02$ Chris
