Hi Guys,
Just received a message on my rooted/unlocked HTC Dream phone from 4826 with
this message:
4826:Rogers/Fido service message:Urgent 911 Calls:Please disable GPS location
on your HTC Dream device to ensure all 911 calls complete. HTC is urgently
working on a software upgrade and we will provide details shortly so you can
re-enable GPS.
What the heck does GPS have to do with 911? Is this some sort of spam?
Does this mean I couldn't make 911 calls in the past 12 months when my GPS was
ON if I was in trouble? LOL...nice find/really quick.
