I'm not using any VoIP phones on the IP04. The IP04 /is/ an "analog adaptor", but open and customizable, with Asterisk as it's driving software. If Asterisk is capable of handling the octothorpe as a simple data value (rather than a hardcoded sentinal for special actions), then I can make the IP04 do what I want. Thus, the questions about Asterisk. I figure that I'll address VoIP phones later, once I figure out my current issue. -- Lew Pitcher Master Codewright & JOAT-in-training | Registered Linux User #112576 Me: http://pitcher.digitalfreehold.ca/ | Just Linux: http://justlinux.ca/ ---------- Slackware - Because I know what I'm doing. ------
