Nabeel,
I have an IP 430 on my test system, and the line keys work as you'd expect
(first call to first button, a second call goes to the second line button).
I would assume most of the Polycoms should work the same.
Going in through the web interface to the phone, the key settings look to be
"Num Line Keys" set to 2 and the "Calls Per Line" set to 1.
Looking at the xml file, it has reg.1.lineKeys="2" in it.
Regards,
Doug.

Subject: [on-asterisk] Polycom line "rollover"
I have a few Polycoms (mix of 501s, 600s, 550s), all registered to an
Asterisk box. There is only a single registration per phone, and all lines
are configured to the same registration (e.g. reg.1.lineKeys="6"). If I
set
calls per line key to 1, the 2nd concurrent call fails. If I set calls per
line key to greater than 1, the 2nd concurrent call rings to line key 1,
instead of "rolling over" and ringing to line key 2.
I know I could assign multiple registrations and roll over in Asterisk,
but
Linksys phones on the same system behave as expected.
Any ideas?
