Unfortunately it only has a single opening for a single pci card plate
on the case.

Thanks for the input Mike. I was just looking over that today.
The SuperMicro 1U seems a nice fit. I am wondering if it will accommodate a
Sangoma A400 plus it's daughter board. So, it needs only one PCI-E slot but
with the daughter card (to add extra 4 FXS or FXO ports) it's as if two PCI-e
cards are inserted beside each other (as they are attached).

Bruce,
If you want a rack mounted one, take a look at this one.
http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1U/5015/SYS-5015A-H.cfm?typ=H
It's a 1U Atom 330, but you need to make sure you order the additional
riser card if you want to add a card ( only one supported).
Now I must say I'm a SuperMicro fan boy. I've not used this exact one,
but have 3 of the Celeron versions of this box.
You can get this box from TigerDirect or OnHop.
Tiger : $475 (1GB é 80GB HD)

Onhop: $337 (no RAM, HD)

Jim, Martin, and Dean, thanks for the input. Seems like everyone likes Atom
ones. Can you guys please elaborate as to what casing you use or if you buy
assembled ones from somewhere?
Also, wondering what Dell ones Dean is referring to.
Thanks again,
Bruce

Hi Guys,
There is no need for power hogs these days for an office of 20-30 if it's all
done with g.711 and occasional g.729. Looking for a smaller box to work as a
PBX for an office of 20 with 6-8 incoming analogue lines (using Sangoma A400;
room for two PCIx cards). So, one PCIx slot is a must and two would be a bonus.
Gig port or ports would be fantastic. Nice enclosure to go with it?
I think something that runs on AC Adapter would be more stable than a power
supply with a smaller enclusure and no proper air circulation.
So, what's you thought? Intel atom? via? had any experience yourself and would
recommand one? Please remember that fitting Sangoma card is a must.
Thanks,
