Does anyone have any experiences with trying to integrate Asterisk or
other Open Source PBX with Microsoft's UC/OCS/Exchange environment?
I've searched through the MS docs, and all I can find is commercial
platforms (Aastra MX-One, Cisco, Avaya, ...) that are supported. There
is an "Open Interoperability Program" - as far as I can tell "Open"
means that they're open to you trying to get your hardware to
inter-operate. Presumably there is significant cost in this open process.
I have found some docs online talking about tying Asterisk into Exchange
2007 - Exchange seems to be the core of all of MS's UC stuff - but has
anyone local done this?
Thoughts?
