I have someone I'm helping with an Asterisk-based IP-PBX with a PRI in. The telco sends the incoming call CLI as 10-digit, regardless of whether it's a local or LD incoming call.
They have rules set up to send 10-digit 416/647/905/289 calls out as 10-digit, and all other 10-digit calls with a 1 prepended. For redialling from missed/received calls, this works great, except for non-Toronto-local 905/289 (i.e. Hamilton, etc.). I know analog lines show incoming caller ID with a 1 prepended for LD calls - is this not something available on a PRI? Short of loading in all non-Toronto-local 905/289 NXX's, and having to maintain that list when new NXX's are turned up - is there an easier way? -- Nabeel Jafferali X2 Networks Inc.
